Center with the biggest
aviary of Italy...
The Carapax Center also hosts a breeding colony
of white storks. This center is part of an international
project for the saveguard of these beautifull birds,
extinct in Italy. We try to restaure the old migration
route to Africa over Italy and so to get back this
marvellous bird in Italy's skies. You will be in
close contact with the animals inside the aviary
as big as a football camp and 25 meter high! The
aviary is in a beautifull area of Massa Marittima. |
